just very thin ...almost thread bare... doesn't pick up perspiration any better than any other towel . It's just a cloth it seems like. I was expecting more

These are amazing! I ordered three and they came today, and I just ordered one more. These pestemals are exactly what I wanted, nice, soft, long, great handmade feel, and the beautiful packaging with 'evil eye' and ribbon was just icing on the cake. I was looking for a small beige "throw" to put on the white armchair. My dog jumps onto the chair and has started to leave dirty paw prints behind on the white fabric. I just wanted something simple that I could throw in the wash, not too expensive since it is technically for dirty paw prints, and something that looks chic enough to strategically drape over the arm of the chair and leave out (and not be embarrassed about when company comes over). This fit the bill. The price was amazing and I think the cheapest I've seen for a turkish towel. The color was exactly what I wanted a very light beige.

I can also see us using this (folded) as a tabletop runner (I'm not a tablecloth person but this would work well for a smaller table).

I just received this in the mail, so I haven't had a chance to wash it yet to see how it holds up in the wash. Overall, I am perfectly satisfied with my purchase and would purchase another one in a heartbeat if the need arose.
