I purchased this tablecloth in the round shape to cover our oval dining room table. I wasn't sure if it would look nice, since the sides hanging down would not be even, but figured I could always remove the center leaf to make the table round if it looked funny. Luckily, this tablecloth looks perfect, even on the oval table. It has a beautiful and subtle stripe pattern and a soft, slightly silky feel. Also and most importantly for a table cloth it has gone through the wash several times already with no ill effects. This item looks more expensive than it is, the butter color is a nice rich gold that really warms up our space, and is a perfect size overall, I highly recommend it and plan to buy another color in the future, just to have on hand!

It's my opinion that if you purchase a table cloth for this price, you aren't going to get a finely woven, high quality table dressing. But I am completely pleased with what this is reasonably priced, consistent looking and understated table cloth. It's exactly what I need for my thanksgiving dinner "overflow" table this year. The texture on my table cloth was a little "deeper" than what the picture looks like, but when I catch it in similar light, it's a very close match.

One tip I ironed it from the back on a low setting and I avoided making it shinier. It's a ploy blend and heat can make it appear inconsistent. I also paid close attention to ironing the edges to ensure that it lays flat on the big day.

When I first took this tablecloth out of the package, it had some discoloration in several spots at one end. Some of this went away after a good spin in the wash, but my husband still commented that he could see some remnants of discoloration. With Thanksgiving less than a week away, I decided to just keep it and hope that nobody would notice or care. They didn't. Overall, I like this item -it is simple, it fits the table well, and it irons up nicely. I ordered the cream color, so I look forward to using it year-round with other seasonal decor. I would consider buying another one.

The table cloth was fine for what it was. I would have preferred a heavier weighted cotton blend fabric, but I could not find one in my price range. Overall this sufficed for my needs.
