My only reservation is the instructions, which favor visually oriented people with good eyesight -very detailed, crowded pictures show exploded assembly views. I'm just glad my husband volunteered to do the job instead of being drafted because it took him 1 1/2 hours to put it together.
The result however was a very nice piece of furniture that blends well with our traditional decorating scheme, and has legs that slide easily under a couch or chair,(can't use with our recliner). A very good value for the price, but does require some patience to assemble it.

After injuring my back by sitting too many hours at my home office desk, I searched for a flexible adjusting stand. I was thrilled when I came across the adjustable computer laptop desk.It met my price range and qualifications. It is easy to put together and adjusts to pretty much any height from sitting on a chair, to standing. The surface is divided into two sections for flexibility, too. One is rigid and the other adjusts for writing or computer work. I recommend to any and all.

It's a great price but the item has issues. No matter how tight you turn the knobs the desk the pole that elevates the table height slides down down eventually. The same problem exists for the knobs that tighten to adjust the angle of the desk. Because of a medical issue I had to have someone else put it together for me. I didn't realize there were no washers on the bolts under the desktop that allow you to place it at the angle you like. (I'm assured it didn't come with them. The weight of the laptop caused the desk to turn and the computer fell on the floor when I was out of the room. I tightened the knobs and I had no improvement. When I checked the bolt I saw that tightening the knob was pulling the nut through the plastic and the desk was still losely attached to the support pole. I put some washers on to fix that problem but it is still difficult to tighten the desktop at the angle I want. Also, the desk isn't that stable, especially on carpet. I do like the height (which works for my high bed) and the fact that you can turn the desk top to angles that allow you to use the desk from the left or right side. While the construction on these is reasonably sturdy for the price, the design is poor. The adjustable-height top relies solely on friction to keep the surface at any height above the lowest, and the friction is supplied -or not supplied -by smooth plastic on smooth powder-coat metal. This means that it utterly fails to do the thing we bought it for -stay up higher than that table we were already using. I love this rolling laptop desk! It was easy to assemble and fits my needs perfectly. I use it with my recliner...but then my recliner has the space needed to accomodate the base. I love the adjustable top and have it set at the perfect angle. Nice that it has the guards that keep the laptop from falling off. It stays where I want it and it is so comfortable for typing. I love the little side table where I can set my cup of tea and phone.I still can't believe the price!!! I have not yet had a problem with it staying at the height needed to clear the arm of my chair. Will wait and see if that changes.
I highly recommend this product....and, it was delivered so quickly!
P.S. Of course at this price, it's not really walnut, but a plastic covering made to look like wood.
