We bought this buffet cabinet two years ago from Amazon and really like it. It looks fantastic in our dining area and is great for storing our wine glasses in the glass door portion. Makes for great storage for some of our serving pieces in the doors at the bottom. My main complaint is that the drawers are very small and not useful for much. Also, be aware that you will likely have to attach the unit to the wall to keep it from tipping over (especially if you have young children, like we do). It does come with the attachments. Overall, the quality is good and it looks great and we are glad we bought it.

I typically do not write reviews, however I purchased this after reading reviews of users complaining about the instructions. I am using this in a media room for storage of glasses, wine, spirits, etc. I am not sure where the confusion is for some. If you look at the picture and read the instructions there should be no issue. Perhaps they've changed the instructions or hardware packaging since my more recent order.Instructions were included for both the buffet and hutch. The hardware needed is packaged in sealed and labeled bags. It is also referenced in the instructions as to which bag of parts you need. The cams and cam locks are high quality, much better than those that typically come with a cheap desk or shelving unit.
As for the build quality it is excellent. The product is made of solid wood, not cheap particle/chip board. The unit is heavy and solid. Like any other wood if you abuse it, it will scratch. However it doesn't seem softer than other furniture I've purchased and assembled. I can't speak to damage regarding shipping as mine arrived undamaged and packaged well.
The holes required for installation were all pre drilled. When installing the black back panels for the unit there are pre-drilled indentations to indicate where screws should be placed. Slats are cut for the wood to slide into for the back panels and drawer bottoms. They are not simply nailed in place with small tacks.
As for the complaints regarding drawer depth, if you are looking to put a standard cutlery tray in this unit you will be disappointed. The drawers are a few inches less than the depth of the unit so take a look at the dimensions of the buffet online if this is concerning to you. Hardware is provided to secure the hutch to the buffet and optionally the whole unit to the wall if you are concerned with it tipping over.
I found the buffet for $100 more locally (excluding the hutch), so the price is right as well. I was skeptical that I would be satisfied with this because it is quite inexpensive, however I was pleasantly surprised and I'm happy with this purchase.

I chose this rating because after my husband put this hutch together it is absolutely beautiful. It is room and very elegant. Adds class to out nook area. Like everyone has said, assembly was a pain. But, if you have a handy guy and the right tools, it's not so bad. We had one drawer that just didn't have holes on one side, so we had to drill them in. Then we got the whole thing together and the right side top shelf wouldn't go down. The peg in one of the boards was off center. So we had to saw it off and use wood glue to hold it in the right position. Probably took us about 4 hours to put the entire thing together. But it looks fabulous. I would buy it again.
