I bought the Montego Bay Bar but was hesitant to by the matching stools as the reviews I found and read were not favorable..

I am here to tell you, these stools are great. They match the bar perfectly, They went together in under 30 minutes. They are very sturdy, and feel very solid. Don't believe the bad reviews.... These are a great addition to my rooftop deck.

Since there were a lot of mixed ratings on this stool, my wife and I decided to just order one to check it out before ordering a full set. We are looking for stools to use in our boat house where we spend a lot of time sitting around the bar. This stool is not very comfortable. The seat seems short and makes you feel as though you might slide out of the seat. These might be ok around an outdoor bar where time spent sitting would be short. I would say that the stool is "sturdy" but would not go as far as to say it would hold up to heavy use. The price for these stools seems way to high for what you are getting. They do look nice and was very easy to assemble. Overall I rate these as ok but we will continue to look for something else.
