This bed would be great if it didn't have a high ridge in the center of the bed. When my 35lb son is lying on the bed, the center support ridge is approx 3 inches higher than the part of the bed where his chest is resting. So his head, chest and feet are lower than his hips. It looks very uncomfortable and not good for his posture/back. We were planning on using it for 10 nights vacation but I'm now returning it. Very disappointed.

Immediately, right out of the box, we were able to use this. There is no assembly, unless you consider putting the included bed sheet over the bare cot. It folds and unfolds easily, and slips quickly back into the little bag that it comes with. Our daughter slept well and doesnt seem to have any issues with the comfort. Our 3 year old daughter doesnt sleep through the night and we were sick of sharing our bed with her. This was an instant hit with her. She loves to sleep on it. We have now moved to her room and she sleeps in there now. The bed seems comforatable. She has not complained once about anything hurting or being unconfortable. It folds up to about 2ft by 6 in log. Purchased cot for our 2 y.o. for when we travel. He has long outgrown the pack and play so we were in need of something when out of town for a night or 2.The looks very nice. It is compact and in the case it smaller than a backpack. And our 2 y.o. is very proud of it. He exclaims, "My Cot!" when we get it out.
The cot does not seem too comfortable though. In the middle there is a hump (no bar across the middle) just a hump. Said hump looks uncomfortable and I noticed my 2 y.o. curling his body up on either side of the hump.
We have used if for several naps and a few overnights. Our boy does fine on it but, I would not recommend using this for more than 2 nights in a row just due to the fact that it does not look like the most comfortable thing to sleep on.
When we return home our boy is always excited to sleep in his toddler bed and he usually sleeps pretty hard that first night back in his bed!

I really liked the bed before our baby tried it out. It is very lightweight, very easy fold/unfold and just the right size for our 2.5 years old. But the middle of the bed is raised, you can even see it on the picture. The head is lower than the waist. Maybe heavier child will not have the same problem, but we had to return it.
