We got these because our other place mats (woven/fabric ones) were difficult to clean and would trap crumbs etc. The color of these mats is a little more saturated than shown in the picture, but they are still lovely!!!! Unfortunately, the laminated (or whatever) fabric part has begun to peel away from the backing not cool!

Very useful, Very easy to wash. Exactly as pictured (anthea). I ordered other cute designed placemats by the "new Designs' brand and when they came they had been folded/creased before packaging so they didn't lie flat I returned them. The Anthea is made from thicker stuff so it doesn't fold and it arrived completely flat.

The top vinyl later begin separating from the foam bottom layer the day we got it. The corners are now delaminated and curled up.
