I put this on a dark blue wall and it looks really good. There is no fake looking outline all around it and once on, it stays in place....even after I moved it a dozen times. It does exactly what it is supposed to do!

I got these for a little cousin I have. She seemed to like the decal but the size I got seemed to be smaller than the picture of the product. The instructions were not great as well, so I had to do it with her. Overall if you don't want to spend too much on something too intricate then these seem fine otherwise go with one of the better website out there like Dali Decals (they have some great stuff)
