I love those. They are thick, so I have no worries placing hot plates. They are very cute and cheap, too.

I am not an expert on such items, but it seems like a really great buy. They are cotton and I feared it would be some light, flimsy, shear material. It is not. They are tightly woven with vertical ridges and heavy duty. I picked them because they complement the autumn picture above the table. I usually play it safe and look for multiple positive reviews and this one had only one review total. Risk, it, and I think you will be pleased.

Overall, I'm very happy w/ this purchase.

Colors are slightly more 'solid' or 'deep' than the somewhat muted image alludes to, as in: what looks to be a light blue next to the sage green actually has a turquoise hue, but luckily it all works in my color scheme.
