This seems to be a well-made, nicely covered item. It holds 4 throws easily. The color may not be quite as bright red as it appears in the listing, but it is a beautiful color, and definitely red. I am very glad I bought this versatile piece. Would highly recommend to others.

To say this is leather is misleading, as a matter of fact, in many countries bi-cast products (which contain a SMALL amount of real leather) are not allowed to be called leather.
Furniture manufacturers know that something called 'leather' can fetch a higher price, so the industry has fought to be able to call it as such.
On the good side, an item like this is easy care, because all of what you see is actually plastic. I personally like this ottoman, and since a dog that likes to swim in the lake and get ridiculously filthy will be lounging on top of it, plastic is perfect.
It seems to be well made, and it closes well. Roomy inside, and the perfect size.
