This is lovely and lightweight. It is much lighter weight than a regular towel, perfect for taking to the beach. Big enough to wrap around you also.

The towel is nice and soft. Perfect size for the beach. I was going to use it for a beach towel but I think the sand can get pass the woven texture. I am disappointed at the color. In the photo it is white and red but the actual towel is very cream/beige. Still nice but not what I was looking for so I might return it.
