Mom gets hot and sweaty when she sleeps and we tried this on one side of her pillow. If she wakes up hot, she flips her pillow over to the cold side and she says it is so cool, she goes back to sleep almost instantly. Was a great Xmas gift and plan to get her one for the other side of her pillow for Mother's Day....and stash a few away for when the hot flashes start someday for me

This item goes under your pillow case and does cool. However the plastic is not comfortable and is stiff. I ended up taking it out, too uncomfortable to allow me to sleep. But it did cool.

ok but not what i expected. its hard for it to stay on the pillow. keeps sliding to bottom of pillow case.
