What's nice about fouta towels is the fact they take up very little room yet are very absorbent. I throw one of these in my bag when I travel in case the hotels have scratchy unappealing towels that are too small to wrap around the body.
These are great for wrapping up long wet hair.

I've had my eye on this towel in blue/green for a long time but it is EXPENSIVE! ($80 for a single towel?? Couldn't justify it!) When I saw this orange one for less I decided to use my Amazon points for a little splurge. If I didn't like it, I wouldn't be out anything. I use this towel for the gym. The shower towels they have available are SKIMPY and a larger terry towel is too bulky to carry in my gym bag. This towel is PERFECT. It is large enough to cover everything, lightweight, rolls up small and is quite absorbent. Plus it's pretty and being orange, I won't accidentally toss it into the gym's laundry bin!
