This is a great item and I love it. It's important to note that the product is just the black lace (nothing white underneath) so you need to purchase white or orange cloth to put underneath if you are placing the item on a dark mantle in order to see the detail. It's a great decoration if you don't want to cover your whole house in cobwebs!

Hard to see the design against a dark colored mantel. Still it had a nice dark silhouette during the spooky season

This looks great on the mantle, but because it is light weight, you need mantle decor to hold it down or it will fall.

Looks great against my white wall... I put it on a cut out window between two rooms and it looks great! I love the quality.... :D

I loved the design of this scarf right off the bat, even when compared to other scarves that I saw for less money. The overhang isn't too low, the pattern is great and the quality is excellent. I don't have a mantle at the present time, but the scarf looks awesome sitting atop our old upright piano. I would recommend putting a white sheet or something behind it if you decide to put it on something dark--the contrast really makes the design pop out more. A definite recommend!!
