A great piece of furniture with the best packaging I have seen in 10+ years of shopping online! The construction seems very solid and the paint/finish impeccable. I am buying another one right now. Still can't get over the fantastic, bullet-proof packaging! Well done, Hillsdale! 4 stars because I think the pricing is a bit "premium".

What a difference a few days makes! I received my 2nd night stand packaging still great, but the inside of the box was dirty/stained and the build quality had issues: both stains and chipped corners in multiple places. Either this was a return/refurb, it was manufactured/packed at a different facility, or quality control is inconsistent. I like this item enough to try to contact the seller to get a replacement. Watch for an update.

This item was shipped promptly and arrived in excellent condition. Some assembly was required, had to put the drawer knob and legs on myself, but this was no problem. So far this stand has been great. It's not high quality solid wood but it's sturdy enough to last me quite some time. It's on the small side, so check your dimensions before buying. It worked perfectly where I needed it. It has a nice cottage feel and goes great with a set I had bought elsewhere.
