I've been using this model for about two years now.

It's very easy to set up. You'll need to read a couple pages of the instructions to see how to set up the time zone for automatic time setting, but that's pretty easy to do. And it's an excellent feature to have. From then on, whenever you unplug it for any length of time and then plug it in again, it'll immediately set the correct time without you having to do anything. You can also manually 'offset' that time. Say, if you want your clock 10 minutes fast, you can have it always set the time 10 minutes ahead of real time.

The snooze feature is also pretty nice. I believe you can set the duration of it (altho I don't remember for sure). But if you want to sleep longer than the preset time, you can just tap the button for as many intervals as you'd like. For instance, mine is set to 10 minutes, and I often tap it twice so it won't go off again for 20 minutes.

The radio works well and is plenty loud, if you're worried about that. And the overall size and shape is good. It doesn't tip over when you hit the buttons like some I've had in the past.

Now the bad news..

First of all, I hate the green display. It's extremely bright. But that's a personal thing. If you like a very easy to see display and aren't bothered by lights while you sleep, you will probably like it. I, on the other hand, have to face it away from me while I sleep.

But the dealbreaker for me is that it isn't 100% reliable. It works fine 29 out of 30 times. But once in a while it just decides to not go off like every other day. This morning it didn't go off at all. A week ago it went off as normal, but when I did my usual snooze routine, it went off 15 minutes later than it should have. That's why I'm now shopping for a new one. And it won't be a Sony.

So, if you need something that will function perfectly every time, don't get this.
