I purchased the round table and four chairs a year ago as I wanted to do away with the primary color furniture in my grandchildren's room. From experience, I am fussy about chair design as so many children's chairs can easily tip backward. This set is rock solid and heavy--I can sit on the chairs very safely, and, sorry to say, I'm not a light-weight. The table has a little bonus shelf below the table top. I had an acrylic top cut to the exact size at a glass company so they can mess around on it without worrying about damaging the surface with paints, markers or whatever. I don't recall having any trouble assembling it. It should way outlast the needs of my grandchildren! Originally, the set was used on a tiled floor so I stuck felt tabs on all the chair and table legs, which was better all around.

On my last visit to my son & d-in-law's home in another city, I discovered they had the identical table & 2 chairs, but in the lighter color. They are also very satisfied with it.

These are some great little chairs! With care, they can even support an adult weight in case you like to join your little one(s) for a puzzle or some imaginary tea. Ours had a defective mis-aligned part, but the manufacturer promptly sent us a full replacement chair, quickly and with no questions asked. I find them sturdy and stylish, and although you could use them with practically any children's table, we like the intimacy and corner-free safety of Lipper's companion children's round table:

Nice design, real wood. Ugly part is that chairs are wobbly, no matter how much I tighten the screws. They drilled insets to bury the screws, but the insets are way too deep, and wood around the screws cracked. The I had to use some L shape brackets to reinforce the chairs. See photos.

We bought the chairs to replace a plastic set of table and chairs for our 3 year old grand daughter. The chairs are strong and can take any beating a 3 or 4 year old can give them. We expect to have them for a long time.

Great little addition to the table with two chairs that we bought. Matches my furniture set and quite sturdy. only con is that it is not so easy to assemble.
