Love these chairs. Love the price too. Found them elsewhere for more and they charged for shipping. Gotta love Amazon.com. The color is a beautiful shade of mocha brown and the fabric is a tight short velvet. I find it hard to not just run my hand across them when I walk by. Its just so soft and lovely. As other reviews have stated these are a very stiff and firm chair. But they are designed for formal dining , in my opinion, not for lounging in or slouching. Sorry to gush over a chair, but these are just so pretty. Makes me feel like a grown up with adult furniture. Now if I could just get my husband to take off his hat at the table...
