I was alittle hesitant about purchasing the four piece Rattan placemats due to the cost. However, upon opening the box I was pleasantly surprised by the fine detail, richness, and craftmenship of the mats. They are very elegant looking as well as sturdy, and worth the cost. I am so impressed by the appearance, I may order another set.

Although these were more than I would normally spend for a placemat, I am so glad I did. Well made rattan placemats will last and last and last, and these are not only well made but beautiful as well. The scalloped edges add a level of sophistication and the color compliments my wooden dining room table. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for a placemat that is a little upscale and practical as well.

I like the mats, but I would not order them again. They were not uniform in size and that created problems for me. While I believe they are hand-made (and thus the problem with sizing), they really should be more uniform than they are. I found them later in a discount shop for MUCH less. Lesson learned...
