I've had this on the kitchen table for three days now, trying to like it, but there's something distasteful about it---it misses the mark, esthetically. The yellow is a cheap muddy mustard with no glow, and the designs look coarse. It's an imitation of an imitation, far removed from a gorgeous, pricey piece of cloth from Provence. I expect it to get hard use (food splatters, etc.) so if it washes and dries well, I may regard it more favorably. Maybe a pot of bright red flowers would modulate the ugliness factors; the bowl of mangoes and yellow apples only heightens them. I've ordered an Indian print as well through Amazon (different manufacturer) and am hoping that will be more genuine, subtle and pleasing, though undoubtedly less easy-care.

The colors on the cloth are vibrant and colorful. I love it. The size is a perfect 70 inch round. My blue napkins make it a lovely table setting. I love bright colors so this suits my taste. It washes will with no shrinkage. I would buy it again and again
