I ordered this navy towel as well as the grey one from the same seller. Colors are pretty true to the pictures, maybe a bit lighter in person. I had never tried Turkish towels before and now I am hooked. I don't think I can ever go back to regular towels.

Things to know:

1) Wash before use because when you pull this out of the packaging, it is rather stiff. It's true that they become softer after each wash (I was skeptical too, don't worry).

2) It dries my skin just as well as regular towels, but the towel itself is dry within 15 min. Using these will save me tons of money on my gas bill since I really don't need to put them in the dryer after washing.

3) These are perfect for the gym because they dry super fast and you can use it as a cover up/sarong while you're drying your hair and doing your makeup.

4) These save tons of space in my linen closet!

People usually think of plush cotton towels when they hear the words 'Turkish towels', but this error arises from the fact that, at one time, Turkish cotton was the cotton most desired in a towel. A true Turkish towel is actually a flat, thin towel, not unlike a very, very large dishcloth. Despite their thinness, however, they are as absorbent, if not more so, than the plusher towels we are more used to. Because of their thinness, they dry much more quickly.

I have sensitive skin, and prefer these to the more traditional plush American towel.
