I was very nervous ordering bar stools that I had not seen beforebut these bar stools are extremely sturdy and they look great! They are heavy (Shipping weight 30lbs) and don't have too much of the distressed antique look (which is what I was afraid of when I received it). With free super saver shippingthese were also a fantastic deal! The closest bar stools we could find at the same price were extremely flimsy and did not look like a nice piece of furniture. I would highly reccomend these bar stools!

The stool was not very well put together. There were gaps where the cross members were attached to the legs. I found better stools, for a lot less money (1/2 the price) somewhere else. I wouldn't waste your money on them.Best Deals for Carolina Cottage 30" Tavern Bar Stool
I found this stool to be well balanced and solidly made. It's got some bulk to it and not lightweight. The black finish is somewhat of a rough antiqued look that adds to the charm.
