This TV tray is exactly what I was looking for: Adjustable height, able to fit a laptop and mouse, and small enough to fit between chair legs.

The lowest height the tray goes (21-3/4") is perfect for the low chair I have. Most of the other trays start at 24"-26" which is too tall. The measurements listed in the product description are all accurate as far as I can tell.

I gave this product 3 stars for a few reasons:

1) Its cheap. Its as cheap as it looks. The top is bendable plastic. I'm afraid of breaking it if I lean on it.

2) Because its cheap, its not worth more than $20 MAX. I spent more because I couldn't find any other trays that fit my needs. Try to find this at a store instead.

I have to knock down my rating on this product quite a bit. The table top measures 21 1/2" across and the depth is almost 15" for the main part of the tray and only nearly reaches 17" on the two ends on either side of it when it's facing you (see picture). Does 1 1/2" short on the width and 2" short on the depth matter all that much? It's certainly false advertising and we're talking about roughly 53 square inches less table space (13% less) than what was promised.

The tables are ok, but beware, they are smaller than you think. I've got one of the larger, original Table-Mates which is quite a bit larger. If you can find one of those, grab it!

I purchased a Tablemate II five years ago and have used it every day. It is sturdy and very useful. Last week, I purchased another one and received the most inferior product ever. It is flimsy and unsafe. I am dismayed at how much the Tablemate has change.

I've always wanted a TableMate, and I'm super-glad they did not disappoint. I had them set-up and in use within minutes of taking them out of the box! (I bought two, by the way.) Granted, it's a little tricky adjusting the height (I've found that if you set them tabletop down, it's easier to adjust) but that's a negligable inconvenience. My Tablemate's are perfectly level and can get tucked away just about anywhere. I love the fact that it has an easel position!

Yes, the tabletop is plastic and tends to attract pet hair, but it's easy to clean and sturdy. I got the TableMate Classic, which is a little bit bigger that the TableMate II. Pick whatever size works for you. They even make small colorful Tablemates that come with a chair and bag for little kids! Seriously, my Tablemates are great, I use them everyday!

This thing STINKS! I own 3 Tablemate 2's and we LOVE them. Use them every single day! My dad wanted one so I ordered this one, thinking it WAS a Tablemate 2! It's NOT!!!! It is JUNK! Spend the extra money and get a REAL Tablemate 2. Not some poorly made replica!
