We got two of these for bedside tables in a mountain cabin. They are perfect and blend right in with a black cast iron bed. They are packed to survive an air drop and were simple to put together all the parts were there and the directions were easy to understand. They are very well made, sturdy, and the thick glass top adds a lot of style, plus you have the bottom shelf for books. This is about the best price you will find them at, other sellers on Amazon are pricing them at much more. We are happy with them and recommend them highly.

This piece is cheap looking to me, but, hey, what did I expect for the price and made in China? It does serve it's purpose and it holds my 2 alarm clocks, pictures, glasses case and various other little things. I wish the bottom shelf was a solid piece instead of metal bars because it makes it harder to store smaller items on the bottom. You can only put flat things like books down there, etc. It is a lot smaller than I envisioned I did measure but I guess it just looks lost next to my king size metal bed. It is also a lot lower than my other nightstand was. I wanted to "break up" the look and take away one of my matching nightstands without spending a lot of money not sure I like it now, but I am too lazy to send it back. The glass piece was badly scratched out of the box. I contacted the seller and they replied via e-mail the very same day to say they would replace it. Very disappointing! I didn't even take it out of the box. All I could see once I opened it was RUST!!! The table was all rusted and not usable. I ordered two of these nightstands as my parents are coming to stay with me at Christmas and needed to get the guest rooms set up. They arrived in good time, and well packaged. I unpacked them and put them together myself. Took me about 15 20 minutes to do both and was easy peasy!! I will warn you though, in my packages there was dust like some kind of brick dust which was easy to dust off but be careful not to get it on your carpets. Put together they are very sturdy, look great and although some of the screws are a bit stiff they go in fine. Ordered two of these. One was fine, the other was defective; the mounting holes did not line up correctly. Contacted seller to resolve the issue; they offered only to replace the defective part, not the whole unit, and they would have UPS pick up the part. After waiting about a week we contacted them again because UPS had not shown up and the replacement part had not shown up. We were told that they would "priority ship" another part to us. About a week later we got the part and it was for a completely different item! Emailed to complain and they wanted to send another part; instead, we opted to ask for a refund from Amazon. About another week later, UPS showed up to pick up the defective part, but the driver said his instructions were to pick up the whole unit; we described the situation to him, and he noted in his log that the instructions were unclear/incomplete and he picked up the package for return.This whole situation would have been resolved much sooner and to our satisfaction if the seller had agreed to let us return the whole unit so we could buy another one or if they had just sent us a new one and had UPS pick up the old one. Neither of those options were agreeable to the seller and it took a total of about four weeks to resolve the issue, therefore the rating of one star.
