Let me begin with this is the 3rd crib we have purchased in our family. All of our kids have gotten convertable cribs but the first 2 were with seperate changers. As we expanded our numbers space became more premium and our 3rd baby is now in the smallbed room so I needed to find something that would fit nicely. This crib unit satisfies that need very well. The Goodthe construction is great, very sturdy and the drawers open and close very smoothly. I was concerned about the stationary factor as each of our other cribs had adjustable bases but that was no problem. I am short and could easily reach over the folded down rail to lay our angel to sleep. the finish is high quality and the space is ample and I truely do love the look. All that said I can not recomend this unit. The Badthe changer table is rather high and a real fall hazard. The dimensions of the changer are not standard and finding the proper pad is not easy, you must get it on line. The short dimensions of the changer space add to the precariousness. Baby must be held securely in place continuously so you are kind of down by one hand and a wiggly baby (like most are) can pose a challenge. The clean sliding drawers are exceptionally easy for baby/ toddler to open (and empty and climb into) and can result in pinched fingers. It appears on the current model (ours was purchased in 2009) they have elliminated the fold down side that on ours serves as a great place for a little one to stick their foot and lever over, so I am not sure how the new model opens but hopefully it is safer. I really love the durablility and look of this cute unit but must advise that it is not the safest of options (even among crib and changer all in ones) that I have seen. Look around there are similar styles with better safety and larger standard size changers.

From looking at the picture you would think this crib is really large, but its a lot smaller in person, which was a good thing for me. The crib looks like it is a lot more expensive that what I paid, but I wish the drawres were made out of real wood instead of the crappy stuff they use now. Also, the bottom drawres aree only half drawres, which is a bummer.
Only other thing I dont like is how low to the fround the mattress feels. Wish it sat up higher.

We just put this together this weekend and all parts were present and overall, it was easy assembly. There was one place in the directions where the words did not match the picture in relationship to the left and side panel's part number, however you can figure it out. It looks great and you can fit alot of baby clothes in the bottom 2 drawers. I also bought the changing pad that specfically goes with this crib and it was a perfect fit. Love it!

We bought this crib for our first baby. I love it. The changing table is just the right height for my husband and myself (6'2" and 5'6"). The drawers are easy to open and store a lot. The lower drawers are perfect for the bedding and the side drawers for diapering supplies. The only thing to be aware of is the mattress level is not adjustable so if you are short it might be hard to get the baby in and out of.
2/10/13 update: we have now been using this crib for over a year and still love it. Our spider monkey of a son has still not climbed out. One other note to add is the changing table area is not a standard size for a changing pad. I made my own to fit.

I have owned this product for a year now and I am sorely disappointed with my experience. I intentionally waited to write this review so I could cover all aspects of its use. I never purchased the changing pad but did notice it was an odd size. I had to keep a step stool in the room so I could bend over to put my daughter in and out of the crib yet it still caused my abdomen much discomfort....and I am 5'3!! My husband has had to glue the drawer bottoms back into their groves several times because the weight of whatever I put in their makes them pop out, they are made of partical board. There is also a problem with the cubby holes on the side of the changing unit, my daughter used them as steps to climb to the top of the changing unit and into the crib.....causing me to push them up against the wall, rendering them useless!!!!! This is expected but still frustrating, so I bought a white wall shelf to put my diaper changing necessities on. My daughter is now old enough to sleep in a toddler bed so we started looking for the mattress to fit the "youth " size bed it makes......the is no mattress made in the size 30x70 that it converts to, which is the final straw in my aggravation. I would have to custom order a mattress, costing me $275 or more and custom size sheets and $35 a piece !!!! So now I am having to sell this unit and purchase a new bed and dresser. I have three daughters and have purchased my fair share of nursery furniture and this is by far the most dissapointing purchase I have ever made. Please look for a more convienent combo unti!!!
