Decent quality at a great price. If you have a notebook computer, it can work as a computer desk. If you have a 17" laptop, even a fairly light one, it's too shaky to use as a standing workstation.

I can use my Fujitsu 10.6" LifeBook (3.3 pounds) on it though it shakes a bit too much if you're a really fast typist.

It's just not useable with my 17" Toshiba L675-S7018 (6.6 pounds). The desk sags quite a bit so the keyboard isn't level and the whole thing shakes and wobbles enough that it feels like it could fall off or tip over. If I were just setting the laptop on it to give a presentation using a remote or just the mouse, it'd be acceptable but it's not going to work for extensive writing/coding.

If you have cats, you definitely want to loosen the tops and leave them in the vertical position when you store it as a good sized cat jumping on it can tip it. Fortunately neither laptop was on it the night Boogers (a 15 pounder) jumped up on it. He's now suing me for damages.

I still like the desk and I'd recommend it if you have a notebook, but if you've got a 10 pound gaming laptop, forget it.

This is the best $35 bucks I have spent. I go to school online so I am always on my laptop. I bought another similar lap desk but it was too tall or too short at both adjusting levels and I was never comfortable, until I found this adjustable labtop table. This is fully adjustable both the angle and height, you can use it sitting down or laying down and the legs even slide under my couch so I can get my computer close enough to me to be able to type comfortably. I love, love, love this desk!

I was skeptical about this until I found out how versatile it is. I used to use a TV tray with my laptop in near the couch. The TV tray could never get quite close enough to comfortably use for long periods of time. This stand can actually fit partially under my couch enabling my laptop closer, and can even wrap around over me if I'm laying on the couch. The height is adjustable, and so is the angle of the two separate table tops. You can't go wrong for the money. It looks nice too.

This is a great portable desk if you are looking for a laptop desk or in my case want to use it as a painting station that I can easily hide away. This things is a great value considering I have seen very similar items for $100 more than this one! It is heavy duty without weighing alot and is very durable and sturdy. It is easy to wheel around and easy to assemble. nice metal stand. I'm really happy with it!

I'm currently typing this review from the comfort of my favorite recliner all thanks to the power of this stand! For me it's perfect. The price was great, and it does exactly what I wanted it to do, but there are a few things you might want to know if purchasing it.

The base probably will not slide under your couch unless it has an unusually large amount of clearance.

Putting drinks on the mouse pad portion of the stand puts them in a perfect position to be dumped directly onto your laptop.

Kicking the leg of the stand in your bare feet hurts.
