This is NOT a top tier night table. This is a "It gets the job done" kind of night table. The item was delivered in solid packaging. Nothing was damaged in transit. The "Smell" some people referred to was not unusual. If you've ever opened any sort of retail packaging, it kinda has that distinct "Cardboard-y" smell to it. Its fine.

The instructions were pretty straight forward. If you've ever put together Ikea furniture, they're along those lines.

Over all, It came together nicely, and really once its together doesn't look too "Cheap".

If you're looking for a solid, inexpensive Night table. You found it.

My husband put this together last night. It is actually pretty nice for the price BUT there is no veneer on the top of the drawer, particle board is showing. Surely this is a mistake. You can see the particle board when the drawer is closed so this must be a mistake. I contacted the company about sending a piece of veneer and will update when I here back. Please, if you bought this can you tell me if the top of the drawer is brown particle board or white veneer? Thanks!

This piece was bought for our 9 year old daughter. It is a sturdy side table. The only downside is the drawer does not roll in and out easily. It does serve its purpose and is definately worth the price paid.

Perfect for what I needed it for. It matches the rest of the decor in the room, but I bought it because they were the ideal dimensions for my space specifically. Wish it were solid wood, of course, but it is still pretty sturdy, more than expected. Takes a little doing to put together, but if you enjoy craft projects you'll be just fine. I believe it took about an hour or so. For the price, it is hard to beat.
