This table cloth has a lovely pattern and nice weight to it. I bought it to fit my 54" square table that I've had a hard time finding table clothes for. It fit nicely, until I washed it. I followed the instructions on the label, but it still shrunk significantly. It now measures just under 54" and doesn't quite cover my table.

A $46 table cloth should not shrink the way this thing does. I read the customer reviews that stated to beware, so shame on me. When this arrived we were very satisfied with the pattern, the weight, and rich deep color. We followed the instructions: wash in cold water by itself, hang dry. It did not matter; hopefully your table can accommodate the shrinkage, otherwise beware of my mistake.

I gave this as a gift to my daughter for Christmas. Her mistake was in not washing it immediately. Instead, she left it in the packaging until needed...then laundered it to the exact specifications given by the manufacturer. Imagine her shock when she realized that the tablecloth had shrunk so much that it no longer even covers her table!

Because she waited too long to use the tablecloth, I am told we will not receive a full refund. Doesn't seem fair to me, as it remained in it's packaging until last week when she tried to launder it. Our mistake!
