I needed a low cost solution to having a small apartment, yet needing to have a place if I had company to sleep. The low cost met my expectations. Although it is not top quality, I expected it to at least look good which it does and it is as I expected. Low cost, easy set up and will probable last me for quite some time.

I ordered this futon sofa bed as an extra seating for my den. It fits perfectly! First of all, I received my order much earlier than expected. It was a good thing I was at home when the FedEx guy showed up because he was just going to leave the HUGE box at the bottom of my stairs! I begged him to bring it up the flight of stairs where my front door is located and he was very sweet to do it. (I tried to tip him, but he declined, which was very unusual.) My order was shipped by Superior Importers Company.

Everything was in one box and it was pretty darn heavy. Using EZ Movers with sliders, I was able to unbox and set up the sofa all by myself. Underneath the sofa, there are two zippers on each side containing armrests and chair legs. When opened flat, it's about the size of a twin bed. When you set it up as a sofa, the middle section folds down with two built in cup holders. Very neat. The armrests are removable, as they are held by strips of velcro. My only complaint is that I found the seating to be rather hard, so I put a small quilt blanket on top and it feels more comfortable to sit. The sofa blends very well with the rest of the furniture in my room. Great product, great service...thank you!

Buyers be aware! This company sells cheap furniture. It seems a "bargain" deal, but the product only last for a few month. Read other reviews for similar products with this company before you place the order.

A spring which supports the seat cushion pokes out from the bottom of the sofa in two month. Contacted the seller, a customer rep offered me 10% refund. I refused because the supporting spings gave away which leads to unseatable sofa.

I demanded for an exchange, then the seller becomes unresponsive...

The seller offers a warranty good for 30 days. How would you know the defects as the spings are wrapped inside the fabrics?

This is a little bit nicer than the futon I owned in my previous apartment. However, the build quality is exactly the same, and I can tell you how long this product will last. From my experience, it lasted for 2.5 years before it really started sagging in the middle. See, the frame is made using cheap wood, and it just flexes and eventually breaks. It's good for something cheap, but just don't expect a long-lasting lifespan out of the couch.
