I bought this table cloth protector because I was tired of washing my linens everyday from the kids. I hesitantly bought this for trial and error and I was pleasantly surprised. The plastic is of medium density and it has a stitched edging giving the tablecloth a more appealing look. CONS: I've only had a few weeks and the plastic creases are still there but a small price to pay for not having to wash my tablecloth daily.

Not my idea of "heavy duty" (or medium duty, for that matter.) We're not talking cheap-rain-poncho-thin, or anything that bad, but definitely not heavy duty. I was looking for something more along the thickness of a those good quality clear shower curtains you would find in T.J. Max or Marshalls. This will probably drape more nicely than a thick one, but I can't see how it would hold up long in a typical household. I think I'll get the fabric store bolt type for my needs.

So I got an RL Plastics Super Clear Table Cover with this order and I like it. The seller was Better Linen. It is heavy enough to protect my vintage tablecloth, but not so heavy and stiff that it sticks out like a sore thumb! It is very clear and easy to wipe down and although it had a very slight smell on opening this dissipated very quickly. It does show the fold marks which is a little irritating, but honestly it's not horribly noticeable. It has a nice finished edge too. I'm in a love/ hate relationship with it because it is a tad tacky to have one, but then there's the vintage Santa tablecloth with 3 kids and a dog. What's a girl to do?

I order this product size 70 x 108, recieved in a box with no paperwork a 70 round. My first review (which isn't showing up for some reason) was poor. I was contacted by the seller to fix the order and consider taking my poor review down. Well that was over a week ago. I still don't have the correct table cloth or refund. Poor service on both the seller and Amazon's part.
