I have moved to a house with more hardwood floors. I quickly saw that couches, chairs, ... would slip across the floor with each person sitting down. I know area rugs could alleviate this, but I don't want to cover the majority of my expensive and nice-looking hardwood floor with carpets. I do have area rugs, but smaller ones.

This product is fantastic! Once I put these rubber pads under the furniture legs, they stayed put with absolutely no slipping whatsoever. I am sitting on the couch now and I can actually push back and the couch does not move. I took a couple off and there's no mark on the floor from using them. Don't get the felt ones they don't really work (unless you're OK sliding all around the floor).

These are great little pads to put under furniture. The rubber coating keeps furniture from sliding (although, with a hard bump, things still slide a little on our smooth hardwood floors). They also have a thick mat that protects the floor.

I originally bought a small pack of Dura-Grip for our bed. I was so pleased with them, when we got new living room furniture, I bought this large package so I had enough to go around for that furniture and any future needs. The large ones can be cut to smaller size if needed, but this material is very thick and very tough. It is just what you want for a heavy-duty job underneath your furniture so they don't wear through, but is difficult to cut without large and sturdy scissors. Be prepared to work at it for awhile and maybe dull up a pair of scissors in the process, if that is your intention.

I didn't think this product would work, but I needed something to keep my furniture from sliding all over my new wood floors. They absolutely work!! They are a little pricey, but worth it. We placed these under every piece of furniture that sits on our wood floors and nothing moves or slides. I can't move the couches unless someone helps me pick them up. Leaning on the furniture or pushing on it will not move it! My kitchen table stays perfectly centered in the room no matter how rowdy my kids get. I definitely recommend this product!! Just wish they came in different colors so I could match them to the furniture and they wouldn't show so much.

After using these for a couple of months I tried to move my couch and found that the pads were fused to my strand bamboo floor. When I tried to lift the pads, bits of the rubber coating tore off and stayed stuck to the floor. At least I was able to scrape them off without damage to the flooring. This happened under several pieces of furniture. Maybe it is a reaction with the resin in bamboo flooring, but I would not recommend using them on wood. Since I bought a large pack of them when we installed the flooring, this was an expensive lesson. I cut squares from a felt carpet pad to use instead; luckily I did not need the non-slip attribute.
