When I first saw this deal, I thought, "Wow, what a great price for a beautiful Bulova clock! I absolutely have to buy this!" When it arrived, I was pleased at how attractive it was, and eagerly popped in a fresh battery and set it on the mantle to be adored. Within a couple of days, it had lost about 5 minutes. Thinking I might have put an old battery in, I replaced it with a brand new one. 2 days later, same story. Put in a third battery, and now it's basically dead. A lovely thing to look it, but not much use as a clock.

The clock did arrive safely and is beautiful. However, you immediately notice the cheap clock works...a little tiny motor inside the HUGE clock. The clock did not keep correct time for more than a week. I replaced the battery twice, within days it was again, no longer keeping time. Ordered it...got it fast and sound! Clock is a mantle clock, and boy is it BIG. Believe the dimension listings. The face is a good 6 1/2" across. Both the face and body are "antiqued" and appear to be a country French design. The floral motif above and below the face, as well as on the "legs" may have been hand-painted.
