This is my first experience with Turkish towels. They're trendy right now and can be expensive. The price on Amazon was reasonable. I got a set of 2 hand towels and two regular towels for my guest bath, but my husband and I have been using them ourselves. These towels were soft and absorbent from the first wash. I've been told not to use fabric softener, as this affects the absorbency, but I have anyway and they still work fine. They dry crazy fast in the dryer and on the towel bar too, even in the summer humidity. My only complaint is that the picture shows a twisted rope fringe, but the towels I received have a loose string fringe. I deducted one star for that.

This gorgeous towel has many uses. I have a buckwheat pillow (Bucky, bought on Amazon). I hand sewed the 2 sides of the small Peshtemal towel & use it for a pillowcase. Beautiful & soft to sleep on. Will order more colors.
