Its beautiful ! Looks exactly like the picture,love the richness of the color, and the fold down tray is very handy! I was not at home when my husband put it together and I had warned him that the previous comments where the difficulty of putting it together!! He said he had no issues!!! Super purchase!!

this product is very nice it did take some time to put together but it was well worth it, highly recommended.

Delivered on time as promised, no apparent damage, but the boxes were particularly filthy.

One side rail bracket was bent, and the ends of one of the center support brackets were cut improperly during manufacturing leaving open holes, but both were still serviceable. I don't think this was damaged in shipping.

Assembly was fairly simple (a total of 20 fairly strong hex screws; key was included). Some spots are difficult to get into, but I was able to tighten them all sufficiently. The simple assembly was a good feature as the instructions were barely legible. Just make sure you understand for sure which screws go where.

The materials are fair quality. One thing that did bother me was the durability of the slats. They are bent wood slats, about 2" x 7/16" x 20". The slats could be easily broken (wood seemed brittle and lightweight) and a few were slightly splintered or had minor partial splits. There is a total of 45 slats running three across and 15 down the entire bed. They are attached to the side rails and center support bars with plastic hardware (insert the ends of the slat and the plastic connectors pop into pre-drilled holes in the rails and center support bars). The center support bars were not particularly durable and the adjustable feet seemed to just barely reach the floor securely when fully extended. Between the slats and the support bars, I would advise that if you and your spouse/playmate are particularly corpulent, you might think twice about this bed. But then again, a good memory foam mattress (which this bed is ideal for) may distribute the weight better.

I have my doubts about how well it would hold up to disassembly and a move, but I'm not expecting to move any time soon.

Bottom line: Not thrilled about the quality I got for the price I paid, but it will do.
