bought these for a 92 year old woman who wanted to raise her bed to keep her new bedspread off the floor. It raised it just enough. She weighs about 125 and hasn't had any problems with them slipping or breaking.

Work great. have need to raise the head of my bed and these work great and you can choose the height since they can be stacked..
