This is just a good, old fashioned flannel backed, vinyl tablecloth, the kind my mother had, the kind I was looking for. I use it for picnics and camping. The top and backing are both as substantial as I remember them, unlike the flimsy things usually found in stores today.Do clean off the picnic table before putting it down. The pine needles and other detritus will stick to the flannel on the back if you don't. But if you are looking for a flannel backed cloth you already know that unless, like me, it has been so long since you have been able to find one you forgot.

The name says it all, this is definitely a classic tablecloth, and made in the USA! Just what you remember from picnics and BBQs at grandma's house or at a school function. It is lightweight, attractive, and adds an excellent casual touch to your party or event. The underside is almost a felt like material, which prevents the cloth from sliding around, and the top has a thin coat of vinyl, which makes clean up a breeze. Just make sure you don't set hot stuff on top of it. I purchased this for an outdoor picnic table. It is very charming in an almost retro 1950's picnic table way, durable, and washes easily and well.
