Not bad looking... Looks ok from a few feet way. Not as large as i expected. Drawers are tiny, cant even fit a standard size utencil tray inside. Drawer bottoms are not cardboard but not very thick. Hight is nice but the rest feels too small. Wine holders are crap! Not secure and not cut to right size. Gaps are visible at all angles and wobbely. Ive taken them out and just have the shelf as they look horrible. For the $400 i really expected a better product buying on amazon. You can buy better for the price at your local furniture stores. Assembly took two to three hours by hubby who said holes are drilled too large for given dowels and even glueing wouldnt work. Dont get me wrong, its sturdy enough not to fall appart but not as sturdy as it looks.
Bottom line: smaller than it looks, not as sturdy as it looks, not as well built as it looks. Not worth the money i spent considering what it took to build it. If it wasnt so heavy and if it was easy to disassemble, id return it. For now, it will have to stay as it looks ok and matches my cherry table and chairs. Eh... Nothing special.

This is a great piece of furniture for the price. It looks great in my dining room and I've already received many compliments. I agree with the other reviewer though regarding the wine rack. It's rickety but it works fine. I plan to use the bottom one and remove the top. It took me about 4 hours to put this together. Everything fit together nicely and assembly was easy but long.I give it 4 stars because while it looks great and was relatively easy to assemble, upon closer inspection you see some of the "cheapness" to it... like the wine rack. Or the bottoms of the drawers, which look nice but have a cardboard feel to them. Also, I had issues (which were resolved) with damaged pieces. This is not a small piece of furniture however it is tightly packed in 1 box when it arrives (the feet come separately). My shipment came very quickly (less than a week) and upon initial inspection, had normal wear and tear from shipping. When I opened it though, 7 pieces were damaged, scratched, chipped or completely unusable; including the two of the main peices: the top and bottom. Shipping it back is not an option because you could never pack it back up the way it came and you have to take it completely apart to inspect your pieces. So I opened the manual and contacted Crosley furniture directly. They were very nice and kindly offered to ship me the broken pieces free of charge. 4 days later, the 7 pieces arrived but the table top was again damaged. I contacted Crosley again, and again, without hesitation, shipped me another table top free of charge. The following week my table top arrived in perfect condition and I was able to finish assembling the piece. My dining room was in disarray for two weeks while I waited for pieces to arrive which was a pain but in the end I am happy with this furniture. Customer service at Crosley was fantastic so kudos to them for standing behind their product and responding so quickly and making this easier than I anticipated it would be. So, am I happy with the furniture? Yes. Would I recommend this to a friend. Yes. At $350 I believe it was a good deal.Honest reviews on LaFayette Buffet Server / Sideboard Cabinet with Wine Storage
Looks good, excellent price/benefit ratio. Is solid. Does not look "cheap" Overall good value and fills a need for our dining room.
