I bought this for cheap and being howard miller was impressed. It keeps good time, does auto adjust for daylight savings and looks good. You really can't tell it's fake wood from the floor. It is however, a little loud. I would surely buy again if I could find for less than $20-25.

Update 8/2013: Still working great in our living room, I now love these automatic clocks. Have bought several others that are atomic. I'm not dissapointed as the time keeps quite well. In fact, I haven't had to correct it since new.

I thought this was pretty cheap for a Howard Miller clock. The description of CHERRY FINISH and GLASS CRYSTAL led me to believe it was wood (of some form) and glass. It is not. It is all plastic, like the cheaper clocks at wal-mart. Disappointing but should have expected it of a clock in this price range.

Once you set up this clock, you can forget about it when daylight saving time happens, what a relief!! I hate changing all the clocks, but not this one. It does it on its own. Yay!!!!

My family had a real wooden clock very similar to this one, though oval in shape, in our living room while I was growing up in the 1980s. Though this version is made of a thin resin/plastic faux wood, it is still very high quality and looks very real. This has the same shape hands and easy-to-read numerals as that old clock that we really liked since it's so easy to read from across the room. And it will be easy for my young nieces who are always at my mom's house to tell time as well. When my mom was looking for another clock to replace that one in the living room, this was definitely going to be my choice. She's loving it so far!

The clock is big and beautiful! However the automatic part isn't working. This is the second Talon Wall Clock clock I got. The first one wouldn't go past 7:38. It would just get stuck at that time but Amazon exchanged it pronto at no cost to me. The automatic was not accurate on that one either but the clock fits our house decor beautifully so I'm glad keep it since once set to the correct time, it stays correct (so far). I really like the looks of it.
